Full course description
The module will cover accounting and finance. What is accounting? What is finance? Are they different?
Accounting is responsible for tracking the financial well-being of a business. It records and sorts financial transactions and then summarizes this information in financial statements for management to review. These statements are helpful to managers and investors who make decisions about the company’s performance.
Finance is the management of capital. Finance is how the organization is able to keep operating and plan for future events by looking at factors both inside and outside of the firm. Finance teams look at the information by the accounting group (the financials) and then help senior management in the planning process.
This module is complimentary and will take approximately 15 hours to complete.
